張靚穎與劉亦菲在照片中以兔子、貓咪、熊貓等特效賣萌，更不計形象的讓臉變形、鼻子變大來搞笑，並開心地寫下：「謝謝大家的生日祝福，我會開心的。」而好友劉亦菲也分享照片表示「親愛的，福如東海，壽比南山。」可愛的互動引來許多網友祝福，也有網友直呼：「兩個都是女神！太美了。」

適逢農曆8月22日，為廣澤尊王聖誕，新竹市長林智堅上午前往香山區指澤宮致贈「保安天下」匾額，肯定指澤宮造福鄉里、關懷弱勢的貢獻，並期盼未來持續與指澤宮攜手，打造新竹市成為越來越幸福的城市。
林智堅上午前往指澤宮向廣澤尊王上香、行三獻禮，並頒贈匾額恭祝聖誕千秋，祈求保佑風調雨順，國泰民安，他感念廣澤尊王對新竹市的庇祐，對於指澤宮對竹市府各項建設的支持，與對社會的付出貢獻，也表達誠摯感謝。
林智堅說，香山區位處沿海迎風面，電力線路及設備、電線杆和電纜易受強風侵襲損壞，影響家戶用電，上任後積極爭取中央經費進行電纜電線地下化工程，目前正逐步改善中，盼未來提供市民穩定電力，即使遇到颱風也能安心生活。
市府民政處表示，指澤宮每年在廣澤尊王聖誕的日子，和廣澤慈善協會、扶輪社、獅子會等愛心慈善社團合辦慈善活動，今年指澤宮「百斤米，一世情」慈善捐助活動邁入第8年，除發放近20000斤白米、提供美容義剪服務外，更首度提供視力篩檢、發送便當、國術推拿等服務，照顧社會相對弱勢族群。
